What are you going to do in this position?

As Assistant Maître in our restaurant Bridges, you play a critical role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional fine dining experience. Your main focus will be ensuring excellent guest service and leading the team. Besides this, some administrational work is involved such as scheduling, hour registration and creating menus on selecting the right wines and pairing these with our exclusive dishes together with our Maître-Sommelier; Roos Stevens. This means you need to have a good knowledge of various wines, including their taste, aroma, aging and geographical origin.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and manage the wine program, including selecting and souring wines and managing inventory together with the Maître Sommelier.
• Provide exceptional service to our guests.
• Training and coaching your colleagues.

To qualify for this position, we ask the following:

• In possession of WSET 3 or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position and environment.
• You have good leadership skills and know how to motivate a team.
• You are well organized.
• You speak fluent English and Dutch is a big plus.
