What will you be doing?

In this hands-on position, you will manage and execute the implementation of our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives throughout the hotel. Whether it is measuring and improving energy or water usage as well as waste separation, assisting with ESG reporting, or engaging team members on sustainable practices, your work directly contributes to our sustainable goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing and executing ESG data collection and reporting.
• Monitoring and implementing sustainable practices in departments and within the entire hotel (e.g. (food)waste, energy, water, sustainability communication, behavioral change).
• Planning and rolling out internal sustainability activities and trainings.
• Collaborating with operational teams to identify and implement sustainable improvements.
• Helping prepare documentation for sustainability audits such as GreenKey and EarthCheck and group reports.
• Participating in local impact projects and initiatives to spread impact beyond the hotel.
• Keeping up with and proactively implement ESG legislation.

• You are detail-oriented and comfortable working with data.
• You are proactive and hands-on, with a can-do attitude.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
• You have experience or education in sustainability. Experience in hotel operations is a plus.
