During your internship, you will become an integral part of our Front Office team and gain exposure to both operational and management-oriented responsibilities. While developing a strong foundation in Front Office operations, you will also work closely with the Front Office leadership team, gaining valuable insight into the operational and managerial aspects of running a luxury hotel.

You will perform all Front Desk Agent tasks, including completing daily checklists, handling check-ins and check-outs, working with the Opera Property Management System, and assisting guests with a wide variety of requests. At the same time, you will be involved in departmental projects, quality initiatives, and management meetings, allowing you to develop a broader understanding of hotel operations beyond the front desk and preparing you for a future leadership role within hospitality.

By collaborating closely with our Guest Relations, Butler, Concierge, and Night teams, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the Rooms Division and the guest journey within a luxury hospitality environment.

In addition to daily Front Office operations, you will take ownership of several quality and coordination responsibilities, including:


  • Participating in daily Operations (OPS) meetings and gaining insight into hotel-wide operational discussions
  • Representing the Front Office department during Quality Committee meetings
  • Contributing to discussions on service excellence and operational improvements
  • Identifying and addressing operational challenges together with the team
  • Sharing insights and feedback with colleagues based on LQA self-assessments and quality reviews
  • Supporting consistency in service delivery and brand standards across the department
  • Assisting with purchasing requests and ensuring operational materials are available when needed

The internship allowance is €600 gross per month based on 38 hours per week. In addition, you may be eligible for a travel allowance.

What you will bring to the role

  • You are currently enrolled in a hospitality-related study program
  • You have a strong interest in luxury hospitality, guest experience, and hotel operations
  • You are fluent in English; Dutch is considered a plus
  • You are proactive, organized, and eager to take ownership of responsibilities
  • You possess strong communication and teamwork skills
  • You are flexible, motivated, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • You have an eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
