As an apprentice kitchen at Hotellerie/ Restaurant Bridges and Oriole, you will have the opportunity to expand your experience at a high culinary level. At Bridges, it's all about the best fish, always and only from the right season. Our Executive Chef has purity as a top priority. Thanks to your passion for the hotel industry you will guarantee high service quality and therefore a unique experience for the guest.

What do we offer?

The team of The Grand is young and bursting with passion and motivation. Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam values personal growth and therefore we employ a fulltime training manager. We offer interns at The Grand responsibility and personal coaching to support you in your development. Also, during your internship you can follow various cross-training courses which will allow you to see other departments of the hotel and broaden your knowledge about the hotel industry. As part of your internship experience, you'll get the opportunity to take part in an operational shift once a month, giving you valuable hands-on insight into our daily operations.

The apprentice salary is based on the Horeca CAO. It is also possible that you will receive a travel allowance and you can use the canteen every day for lunch/dinner.

Do you like to go out for dinner and drinks? Good! You get a discount up to 50% in selected restaurants and bars in 4 or 5 star hotels in Amsterdam.

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam offers five-star de-luxe in a unique Amsterdam, historic ambiance, equipped with French elegance and grandeur. The international hotel is part of the Accor Hospitality Nederland Group. Housed in the former town hall of Amsterdam, The Grand offers 179 rooms including 52 suites. The Grand also features 19 Inspired Meeting rooms, an urban spa, our garden bistro, Oriole, and a fine dining restaurant, Bridges.
